2.4 Triangular Bead
DESCRIPTION:
Construct a triangular bead using individual, flat, panels of dry clay. The exact dimensions and stringing hole placement are up to the maker. Joins can be mitered or butt with special attention paid to durability, seams, and connection points. Two thirds of the bead can be either textured or smooth, but at least one third must have a mirror finish on an untextured surface.
This is an exercise in using dry construction techniques to create dimension with secure, well-formed edges/joins and the creation of two different finishes on a single plane. The challenge submission form will ask for a photo of the pre-assembled panels.
