3.4 Sculpted Ornament
DESCRIPTION:
Combine a found object with a 3D, sculpted, metal clay element to create a functional, non-wearable, item such as bottle stopper, letter opener, tool handle, etc. You may use either additive or subtractive techniques, or combine both to form the sculpture. The finished piece should be complete and useable i.e.: handles must be securely joined to a tool, a pen casing must contain a nib and ink, and so forth. Separate parts can be joined in any way, including cold connections. The accompanying challenge submission form will ask for process photos.
