3.5 Sandwiched Setting

DESCRIPTION:

Create a piece of jewelry using two or more rivets to capture a button, shell, photograph, or other object. The object must be riveted between sintered, textured metal clay and another solid material (such as sintered or milled metal, plastic, wood, etc.).

The object may be flat or dimensional and any type of rivet may be used to complete the design. Rivets must not pierce the found object, but rather be positioned to securely “trap” it in place.
