4.4 Personal Talisman
DESCRIPTION:
For millennia, humans have found and/or created objects that, for the individual, held great significance: magical, nostalgic, spiritual, etc. These objects, known as talismans, amulets, or charms, were held close as personal adornments, small sculptural pieces to be carried in a pocket, or displayed in a place of honor in the dwelling.
Create a talisman/amulet of personal significance to be worn, carried, or displayed. Metal clay should be the predominant material, but you may include any other materials or found objects to complete the design. The choice of materials and how they are arranged must be considered carefully to convey the meaning of this special object.
The accompanying challenge submission form will ask for a short statement of why and how the object and its elements have personal significance to you.
