2.6 Enameled Object

This form must be completed as part of the Enameled Object challenge submission. The information will go to the evaluator along with your completed piece.

Challenge Details

DESCRIPTION:

Transparent enamel absolutely glows when applied over a textured metal surface. Research enameling techniques and choose one to embellish a textured, wearable object that is at least 1.25 inches/3 cm in any direction (round, rectangular, etc.). Texture must be either a handmade, reusable texture sheet/stamp/tile, or hand applied with any type of ‘direct to clay’ technique. Document your research findings in the accompanying information request form, which will also ask for photographs of the texture tool or unfired item.
