Challenge Details

DESCRIPTION:

Use a hand-applied ‘direct-to-clay’ texture to embellish a hinged bracelet of two to five separate segments. The hinge ‘knuckles’ should also be also made of metal clay. Direct-to-clay texturing examples include carving, water etching, slip printing, viscosity painting, etc. Hinges can consist of either three, five, or seven knuckles, and the hinge pin must be made of milled metal. Embellish at least one bracelet segment with Keum Boo Foil and secure the hinge pins in any way that functions well and compliments the overall design.
