Challenge Details

DESCRIPTION:

Research the firing schedules and compatibility of different metal clay colors and combine two or more that will create a dramatic, visual, impact to produce a coordinated pair of wearable objects. Some examples might be a hair clip and earrings, or bracelet and brooch. The metal clay types can be integrated as raw material and co-fired or joined in a two-stage firing process. Cold connection or soldered joinery is not appropriate for this challenge. Texture and finish are up to the maker. The information request form will ask for work in process photos.
